Each individual lesson at the school is designed to provide personalized instruction and the best possible progress for the student. A teacher with experience and expertise in equestrian polo will work directly with the student to help them develop the necessary skills and achieve their goals.
The first individual lesson begins with an assessment of the student’s level and a discussion of their goals for equestrian polo instruction. This will help the instructor determine the most appropriate teaching methods and plan of action.
The student will learn the basics of riding, including proper seating in the saddle, controlling the horse with the legs and arms, and the basics of pacing and galloping. The instructor will pay attention to proper technique and help the student improve.
The student will learn stick control technique and basic hitting and ball control techniques. The instructor will provide practical exercises to help the student develop accuracy and power as well as improve ball control during the game.
The instructor will focus on working on the student’s weaknesses and helping them overcome problem areas. This may include working on specific skills such as hitting, ball control, or field positioning.
