The one-day course at our school offers participants an intensive training program that allows them to learn the basics of this exciting game of horseback riding. The course is designed for beginners as well as those who already have some riding experience.
What awaits you:
- Course participants will be introduced to the rules and objectives of the game of horse polo. The history and development of the sport will be covered, as well as an introduction to basic equipment and gear.
- Participants will be taught proper seating in the saddle, foot and hand control of the horse, and the basics of steering the horse at stride and gallop. Attention will be paid to developing proper technique and safety while riding.
- Participants will learn stick handling techniques and basic hitting and ball control techniques. There will be hands-on exercises to help participants learn hitting accuracy and power, as well as improve ball control during the game.
- Participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills in a real game situation. Under the guidance of an experienced coach, they will play small practice games to apply their skills and strategies and receive feedback and advice.
- After the game session, the game situations will be analyzed and discussed. The coach will share his observations and offer recommendations for improving technique and strategy. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
The course is structured so that participants can receive comprehensive training, combining theory and practice. It offers the opportunity to try out the game and assess whether the sport fits their interests and ambitions.
